Go on the Rides
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has four main attractions: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Escape from Gringotts, Flight of the Hippogriff, and the brand-new Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Forbidden Journey lets you ride a broomstick alongside Harry Potter across the Hogwarts grounds in a thrilling adventure. Escape from Gringotts puts you inside the wizard bank to steal one of Voldemort’s horcruxes. Flight of the Hippogriff is a gentler roller coaster that swoops over Hagrid’s hut and a magical pumpkin patch, while Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is an outdoor roller coaster that takes you through the Forbidden Forest.
Visit Ollivanders Wand Shop
Another experience you won’t want to miss out on is Ollivanders Wand Shop. The shop is located at Diagon Alley, where you’ll enter with a group and go through the same experience every young wizard goes through: choosing a wand. You can purchase a collectible or interactive wand here.
Eat at the Leaky Cauldron
If you’re looking for a meal, you’ll definitely want to visit the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley. The restaurant has lots to choose from, such as fish and chips, ploughman’s lunches, bangers and mash, and more, all served in a magical setting.
Visit Honeydukes
In Hogsmeade, enjoy the sweets of the Wizarding World by stopping at Honeydukes. The candy store houses an assortment of sweets such as Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, and so much more in movie-accurate packaging.
Try Butterbeer
You can’t leave the park without trying the butterbeer. The delicious, cream soda-esque drink is available all over the two parks. You’ll mostly find regular and frozen butterbeer, but there are many other variations, such as ice cream, fudge, and potted cream.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a chain of themed areas at Universal Parks & Resorts based on the Harry Potter movie series and novel series. The theme park has features from the Warner Bros.’ film series and original novels by author J. K. Rowling.
